HSCAP (Higher Secondary Centralised Admission Process), popularly known as Ekajalakam (ഏകജാലകം), is Kerala’s official online single-window admission system for Plus One (Class 11) admissions in all Government and Government-Aided Higher Secondary Schools. Managed by the DHSE Kerala under the Department of General Education, this transparent, merit-based, and fully paperless system allows students to apply to multiple schools and streams in a single application — without standing in queues.
Seats are allotted based on the student’s WGPA (Weightage Grade Point Average) from SSLC and reservation criteria. There is no limit on the number of school options a student can enter.

Understanding the Allotment Process
Trial Allotment – June 8, 2026
The Trial Allotment gives students a preview of which school and stream they are likely to receive based on current rankings. It is not final — students do not need to take admission at this stage but can use it to revise their options before the final allotments.
First Allotment – June 15, 2026
The First Allotment is the first official seat allotment. Students who receive a seat can take Temporary Admission and still remain in the running for a higher-preference school in subsequent allotment rounds.
Second Allotment – June 22, 2026
Students who accepted temporary admission in the first round may receive a better allotment based on their higher preferences. Newly available seats from cancellations are also offered in this round.
Third Allotment – June 29, 2026
The Third / Final Allotment fills remaining vacant seats. After this, students must take final admission. The admission process continues until August 5, 2026 for supplementary and special category seats.
🔑 Key Rule: If you receive a seat in the 1st Allotment and take Temporary Admission, you are still automatically considered for your higher preferences in the 2nd and 3rd allotment rounds. You don’t lose your seat.
